Here are a few kind words from the people we’ve worked for. To read more reviews and see what we do on a daily basis please visit our business facebook page.

Forest Rehabilitation Ecology has been the main invasive species managers for Ngarang-Wal Fold Coast Aboriginal Association Incorporated Indigneous Protected Area programme for the last two years and have shown their impressive work skills continuously! Tori and the crew have extensive knowledge on local flora and fauna and they are always willing to impart what they know to employees, guests and visitors! They have taught us so much about local flora protection and respectfully work with our Aboriginal cultural beliefs. Our site, the Guanaba Indigenous Protected Area, has been benefiting from Forest Rehabilitation Ecology’s work and the evidence is clear, we invite visitors to come and see for themselves the high quality level of work that Tori and the crew maintain along with professionalism and structured systems that work efficiently.

I have been utilizing Victoria’s horticultural services over a three year period to rehabilitate areas on my private rural property back to native vegetation that had been significantly impacted by weed infestations. I am impressed with what has been achieved in this time and recommend her for your project. Five key aspects that stand out include:

  1. A thorough knowledge and identification of weed and native plant species including species declared rare and vulnerable.

  2. A methodology that is sensitive to the natural regeneration without the use of excess scatter spraying of chemicals.

  3. An ability to transform a target zone within a specific framework to achieve tangible results.

  4. A collaborate working relationship with discussion and works feedback.

  5. Victoria’s passion and enthusiasm for the environment.

I have known Victoria now for over fifteen years.

Being the owner of a one hundred acre parcel of land, Victoria has been extremely valuable in the on-going maintenance of weeds on this property.

Her hands-on practicality and extensive knowledge of all things natural, including plants and animals, are a vital ingredient to getting a great outcome, whatever the project. Add to this her ability to identify Aboriginal artefacts , as she has done only recently.

Weed control over the years includes, Lantana, fire weed, privet and Chinese honeysuckle. Construction of rural fences and animal husbandry.

Victoria’s knowledge not only of the practical use of machinery, but also the maintenance of such machinery is fantastic, and the safety of herself and her crew are forever uppermost in Victoria’s mind.

Having worked with Victoria on many occasions I can highly recommend her and the team for their professionalism and enthusiasm.

I wish her and the team all the best for the future, knowing full well they deserve it.

We purchased Bungalora Farm a non-working hobby farm in Terranora NSW 2017.
Laura and I contacted forest rehabilitation ecology to assist in providing us with advice about weed control as there were major weed infestations throughout vegetation zones and our rainforest.
Laura and I did not know where to start, as we are not from a farming background.
Tory visited our property and explained to us the value of engaging her to do a Vegetation Management Plan.
After receiving the plan, Tory contacted council and forwarded the plan to discuss funding options available as there was rare and threatened species identified on site.
Laura and I applied for council funding and were successful with a small grant.
Forest Rehabilitation has also assisted with on ground restoration work, including bringing on volunteers to assist making the project budget more effective.
Laura and I can achieve tangible outcomes over just a few years. After one year large areas of weeds have been treated and we can apply for another grant to keep things moving in the right direction.
The priority rainforest has been rehabilitated and Forest Rehabilitation has also worked to train me in ‘best practice’ techniques to help me manage my land after funding options run out. We are very happy with the high level expertise provided for a reasonable price and don’t hesitate to recommend them.”
Bungalora Farm will continue to work with Forest Rehabilitation Ecology to maintain this Rainforest and restore the Farm padocks in the years that follow.
Many Thanks to Tory and her Team.

Barry and Laura Robinson, Terranora N.s.w.
