Ecological solutions for vegetation management in a changing climate
Forest Rehabilitation Ecology acknowledge and pay our respect to the ancestors and traditional custodians of the lands which we work to restore
We provide expert knowledge and experience, in natural area restoration and ecology.
Forest Rehabilitation staff and volunteers are passionate and proactive about conserving the environment. We do this through community engagement, knowledge sharing, and delivering ‘best practice’ restoration using specialised weed control techniques. We provide the best broad scale vegetation management solutions with comprehensive plant identification and management options.
We specialise in high conservation value restoration and can provide the best systematic and comprehensive weed management solutions with minimal use of herbicides. We can develop weed management recommendations and vegetation management plans for small or large-scale projects. We have a high success rate with funding, assisting in writing grant applications and progress reports. Our experts have Field Botanist plant identification skills to ensure rare and threatened species are protected and retained. We are also qualified in steep area abseil work, with working at heights certification and abseil trained staff.
Assisted Regeneration
Assisted Regeneration is the process of weed treatment for reconstruction revegetation or natural regeneration recovery. Our Field Technicians deliver work for SEQ and Northern NSW Local Government, Landcare groups and private landowners. We use a low-impact approach tailored to each site. We have completed a total of 146.39 hectares of assisted regeneration.

Threatened Species Recovery
We are licenced for working with Threatened Species and Critical Habitat under scientific licence in NSW. The work we deliver benefits the conservation of vegetation communities, ecosystems, habitats and rare and threatened species.
